House of Ruth has been providing life-saving domestic violence services for residents of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties since 1977.
Their programs are open to all battered women, men and children and they are free of charge. Their goal is to promote healthy relationships and help people live a life free of violence, especially in their home.
Red Nose Day
Their mission is to end child poverty while supporting programs that keep children safe, healthy and educated.
According to the red nose day organization, In America nearly 20% of children live in families with an income below the federal poverty threshold, and nearly twice that number live in homes that struggle to put food on the table.
Globally, 1billion children are deprived of one or more basics needs like food, shelter, safe drinking water, sanitation, healthcare or education.
